Your questions answered

DO I NEED A GPS TRACKER?

GPS trackers are an excellent tool for keeping tabs on the whereabouts of important vehicles and assets. Whether you manage a fleet of professional trucks or need to know the location of construction tools, an asset tracker can be a valuable addition to your management system. GPS trackers use satellite technology to pinpoint exact locations at any given time and can hold this data for later access. Additionally, they feature analytics software that allows you to observe overall trends in how vehicles and assets are used over weeks, months and years – making it easier than ever before to stay on top of your operation’s efficiency.

Installing a vehicle or asset GPS tracker is essential in increasing your investments’ security. With increased tracking options and real-time monitoring, location and usage data can be easily accessed via an online platform anytime. This reassures you that your goods are secure through intelligent alerts for any unauthorised activity, as well as helping to track assets and optimise routes for improved efficiency.

With clever reporting functions, you can access all the data needed for fleet administrative purposes, such as fleet utilisation metrics and driver behaviour patterns.

HOW DOES A GPS TRACKER WORK?

A GPS tracker uses the Global Positioning System, or GPS, to track an object’s movement. This technology works by sending and receiving satellite data and using that information to pinpoint an object’s exact location.
