Create a MyNetstarAccount in Just a few steps
Getting started with the MyNetstar GPS Tracking App is quick and easy. Follow these simple steps to set up your account and connect your tracker for real-time monitoring.
Step 1: Download the App
Download the MyNetstar GPS Tracking App from the App Store for iPhone or Google Play.
Once downloaded, open the app on your smartphone or tablet.
Step 2: Create Your Account
Select ‘Create Account’ on the app’s home screen. Enter your name, email address and password, then verify your email to complete registration. If you already have a Netstar account, simply log in using your existing credentials.
Step 3: Connect the GPS Live Tracker
After logging in, follow the in-app prompts to pair the GPS tracker for your car. Depending on your device:
- OBDII GPS Vehicle Tracker: Scan the QR code and add the device to the MYNetstar app before installing your device. Once added to the app, you can plug the device into your car's OBD port, which is usually located on the driver's side of the car.
- Netstar Wired GPS Vehicle Tracker: Scan the QR code and add the device to the MYNetstar app before installing your device. Once added to the app, contact a licensed auto electrician to ensure the device is installed correctly (by you or a technician).

Step 4: Start Tracking
Once connected, you’ll see your vehicle’s live location on the map. You can now view trip history, driving behaviour and receive alerts directly through the app.
